16 May Airbus, Metales Vela and Recymet Systems join together in a solidarity initiative for a better society.
Social responsibility and solidarity must be priority business values in the recycling industry of the 21st century. In this sense and together with Airbus and Metales Vela, Recymet Systems S.L. has participated in a remarkable solidarity donation to several associative entities in the country.
At the initiative of Airbus, the contribution has been generated through a closed purchase and sale operation, the profits of which have been destined to donations to different social entities for patients with rare or complex diseases.
This action is yet another act of public awareness of these minority groups, which are always in need of attention and resources to study, make viable and improve the health treatments of those affected.
On this occasion, the entities benefiting from these solidarity contributions were the following:
- Asociacion Asdahna from Getafe (Madrid) for Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD, https://asdahna.org/
- Asociación AMP from Pinto (Madrid) for people with intellectual disabilities https://www.ampinto.org/
- Fundación de la Sonrisa de Alex from Pamplona for research and treatment of Ewing’s sarcoma https://www.lasonrisadealex.com/
- Asociación “Síndrome de Microdeleción 5q14.3-MEF2C” from Castellón, for people affected by the MEF2C gene. https://www.asociacionmef2c.com/
With this initiative, we, the participants of the donation, would like to invite other companies in the sector to contribute their grain of sand in solidarity and contribute to the improvement of our society. Every little bit helps and every effort is always welcome.
